Circle for Integrated Community Development (CICOD) is a national non-profit making non-governmental organisation registered with Malawi government under Trustees Incorporation Act in 2004. CICOD was set up in 2002 by community development activists to empower local communities to determine their own development needs through active participation. CICOD’s head office is in Lilongwe with its impact areas in different districts. CICOD has 32 members of staff who are based at the head office in Lilongwe and in the district offices. These include District Coordinators, Community development facilitators and accountants.
